On the second of March 2024 I presented my work 'Momenten van Gebreide Troost' during the first edition of FASHIONCLASH in Tilburg. It was a special time to meet new artists and writers. The beautiful daylight of the 'Leesstudio' at Theater de Nieuwe Vorst was a mesmerizing addition to my textile work.
I had the most special conversation with an 82-year old yoga teacher. Who completely understood my work and started speaking about it to other visitors. She told me: 'You can find grounding in your own work of art.'

Via an Open Call, a selection has been made of designers and artists who will exhibit their work during FASHIONCLASH Tilburg. The multimedial exhibition features clothing, textile, photography, video and installation works by emerging makers; a new generation of designers and artists who explore and question the boundaries of their discipline. With their works they move between the transdisciplinary domains of fashion, social design and visual arts.
