As part of the curriculum for first-year fashion students at the HKU, I provide a workshops at Kobor Garens.
A hidden gem full of secondhand yarns. I teach students about making sustainable choices in their own artistic practice. I also tell them about my own artistry. How I work with a connection to space, how we can connect yarns and space.
We always end with a joint assignment. In groups, students look together at how they can tell a story together with the space and the yarns.
